1. Bahrain National Museum

The Bahrain National Museum is the oldest and largest public museum in Bahrain. 2. Beit Al Qur’an 

The Beit Al Qur’an (House of the Quran) is a museum dedicated to Islamic heritage and the study of the Holy Qur’an. Housed in a structure modeled after the 12th-century Al Khamis Mosque, complete with engraved Qur’anic verses and a slender minaret, this museum houses an impressive collection of Qur’ans and other antique manuscripts, as well as a stunning display of calligraphy.

3. Busaad Art Gallery

Ebrahim Mohamed Busaad, the artist, owns the Busaad art gallery in Bahrain. The project began with the renovation of the artist’s grandfather’s house, which was built in the 1930s and is the exact location where the artist was born.

The pieces on display depict a wide range of themes and styles, ranging from Arabic calligraphy to more modern forms. The gallery building, erected in the 1930s and renovated by the artist’s family, is a work of art and a major architectural landmark.

4. Bahrain Military Museum

5. Oil Museum and first oil well

It is the Persian Gulf’s first oil well, and it is located in Bahrain.Oil first gushed from this well on October 16, 1931, and the well finally started blowing oil heads on June 2, 1932, much to the delight of those involved in the project.

The initial flow rate of oil was 400 barrels per hour. The well is located beneath Jebel Dukhan, also known as the Mountain of Smoke, which is the highest point on the island at 134 meters (450 feet). It gets its name from the misty haze that often surrounds it on a hot and humid day. Bahrain was the first oil discovery on the Arabian side of the Persian Gulf. It couldn’t have come at a better time for Bahrain, as it coincided with the global pearl market’s collapse.

6. Museum of Pearl Diving

The Museum of Pearl Diving is located in the former Bahrain Supreme Courts Center, which was built in 1937. 8. Shaikh Ebrahim Center

The Sheikh Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Center for Culture and Research is one of most significant cultural museums in Bahrain, playing an important role in Bahraini civilized life. 9. Qal’at Al-Bahrain Site Museum

The Qal’at al-Bahrain, also known as the Bahrain Fort or the Portuguese Fort, is a Bahrain archaeological site. The Qala’at Al-Bahrain (Bahrain Fort) Site Museum in Bahrain, which opened in February 2008, aims to preserve the ancient historic features of the site while also documenting the archaeological periods through the preservation of artifacts discovered at the site.

The museum’s collection features five different historical periods that are chronologically organized, each with its own gallery.

The original Manama post office, located directly behind Bab Al Bahrain, is now home to a newly renovated museum documenting Bahrain’s postal services throughout its history.
